Meet Bow Bear!

There once was a little brown bear who wanted everyone to be afraid of her. She was smaller than all the other bears and felt she needed to be the scariest to make up for it. She stopped wearing the bows she loved so much, and she spent hours practicing her growl and sharpening her claws to be sure she was the most menacing in all the land. It took time, but eventually Bow Bear realized that she wasn't made to be menacing, and it certainly wasn't helping her make any new friends.

So, although it felt embarrassing at first, she eventually brought her bows back out. She found people preferred to laugh with her rather than at her, and she realized that her confidence made space for others to be more themselves, too. So, Bow Bear never became the scariest in the land, and if we’re being honest here, her bow is a bit too big for her, but it doesn’t matter, because she’s being who she was made to be, and she finally feels proud of it.
